Providing an emulsifying, lathering scrub without leaving skin feeling greasy, tacky or clogging pores, these gentle buffing grains also reduce TEWL (trans-epidermal water loss), minimize fine lines, promote skin suppleness and elasticity and balance oil production.

Jojoba Esters – A renewable plant-sourced ingredient from the Simmondsia Chinensis known to produce wax esters with similar nurturing and moisturizing properties as our own sebum. Jojoba is naturally hypoallergenic and contains powerful antioxidants, omega 6 & 9 fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E as well as palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic and myristic acids and tocopherols that are known to act as free radical scavengers. With a botanical microsphere delivery system, these “florabeads” deliver excellent moisturizing properties with exceptional spread and lubricity, leaving a rich, velvety, non-oily feel on the skin while retarding water loss and enhancing the flexibility and suppleness of the skin.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice – A member of the lily family, aloe is actually a succulent that closely resembles a cactus whose gel is made up of leaf pulp or mucilage - a thin, clear, jellylike substance obtained from the parenchymal tissue that makes up the inner portion of the leaves. Aloe improves hydration and provides soothing, calming benefits to skin, working as an anti-inflammatory and aiding in the healing of cuts, grazes, insect bites and burns due its capacity to accelerate the turnover of collagen. And while the polysaccharides seem to give aloe its immunestimulant properties where salicylate and carboxypeptidase are responsible for its anti-inflammatory activity, aloe also has the ability to prevent immune suppression caused by UVB by repairing damage to langerhans cells.

RECOMMENDED USE
Squeeze a small amount in the palm of dampened hands and apply to face, neck and décolleté. Gently work into skin for several minutes and rinse with warm water and a soft cloth or white 4x4 gauze. Several rinses may be required. Brush off any remaining beads with a dry cloth or gauze. Can be added to favorite cleanser to boost exfoliating effects.
